One of the saddest things I've seen in my life involved a giant bird of prey and a sloth. I wish sloths could shoot lasers from their eyeballs at will. This would make them far less suspectible to being attacked and carried off by predators. Today I happened across many sloths! The full-color sloth decal comes from Surface Collective. The little sloth babies appear on LA Unleashed. Check out their site for more ridiculously awesome photos of the hairy tots.

Chen and Gaga
Channel NewsAsia reports Hong Kong actor Edison Chen recently met up with Lady Gaga to discuss a collaboration within the Asian market. Chen and Gaga have apparently known each other for years and regard one another as a creative force. Chen is best known for his Hong Kong movie roles, streetwear clothing line, and 2008 photo sex scandal which led to his self imposed exile to Canada. Lady Gaga is most recognized for her catchy dance songs, big nose, and awkward fashions. I must admit the two make a striking duo.

Homie Style Mac and Cheese
My husband likes to remind me that I was raised on "white people food." According to him, at the tippy top of the white people food pyramid is Kraft Mac and Cheese. And at the bottom you'll find me rolling on the ground clutching my lactose intolerant stomach. Despite this unfortunate condition, I'm cooking (aka, boiling) Homestyle Mac and Cheese tonight for the first time. This could be a new chapter in my life! One where I have an extra large ass, but whatever.
Straight up better than Burt's Bees
Ajumma gives two thumbs in the air to Lip Smacker's new 100% natural lip balm. Pink Guava is soothing yet light on the lips, has a pleasant (almost not there) fragrance, and is a non-animal tested product. The cute packaging caught my eye, though I wish the plastic was a color other than brown. Details, details! I am excited to try Lip Smacker's melon and acai berry flavors.

Domo kun anatomy print
According to a limited edition, ultrachrome anatomy print of the Japanese character Domo-kun, he possesses a nasal cavity. All this time I figured he breathes out of his mouth! Otto Shop in Fullerton sells Domo-kun and Hello Kitty (who has a much larger brain) anatomy posters, and a variety of fabulous, quirky wall art. Check it!

Nom Nom: That's how they roll
Have you spotted Nom Nom's truck on ads for The Great Food Truck Race debuting tomorrow on Food Network? Nom Nom, who have been serving Vietnamese-inspired sandwiches to folks around Los Angeles since January, are vying for Food Network's $50,000 prize. South Bay Foodies reviewed Nom Nom's banh mi this very week. Mmm! This instantly brings back memories of Orange County living, except for the mayo. Photo by South Bay Foodies
