Stephen Chow, star and director of hits Shaolin Soccer andKung-fu Hustle, apparently tried to snag Edison Chen for a role in the upcoming live-action Dragonball movie. Chen, 27, a Hong Kong actor, singer, and entrepeneur passed up Chow's offer choosing to film Jump with director Stephen Fung, instead. Dragonball presses forward with Emily Rossum, James Marsden, and Korean American actor Joon Park starring.
What does Edison need with a cheesy film like Dragonball, anyway? The boy already has his own action figure toy.
