Christian Bale, British Actor of 2007

Christian Bale has been nominated for "British Actor of 2007" by the London Critics' Circle for his role in 3:10 to Yuma. Bale plays a down-on-his-luck rancher, in Yuma, who agrees to transport a killer (played by Russell Crowe) to a train in Yuma, AZ. The movie was plagued by rumors of strife between Bale and Crowe, and a horse tragically died during filming.

The 28th LCC Awards will be held on Friday, February 8, 2008. If Bale wins he will join a very prestigious group of fellow British awardees:
